I wasn't suggesting that the article relates to XPE ... more the last paragraph where GE seems to have an open cheaue book and funds earmarked for Aussie tech companies.
They have realised that they will need to import tech from outside GE, so not just take-overs but JVs, using other companies's tech, and paying licensing fees for IP.
All of which should be good news for XPE given GE's clout in the medical tech industry ... as well as lighting.
