The following is a comment I have submitted.

UCG syngas fired power stations could be up and running in a short time.

Cleaner and also cheaper to run than coal fired power stations.

UNFORTUNATELY, the COUGAR ENERGY pilot project to do just that, is being strangled at birth by the Queensland Government,as a sop to the MASSIVE and more problematic coal seam gas industry.

The QLD GOVT is transfixed by royalties from coal seam gas to the detriment of its own looming power shortages.

UCG syngas could solve these short to medium term issues, thus allowing more time for more permanent solutions.

Do not be influenced by the current ill informed comments coming from anti UCG interests, there is a well coordinated ASTROTURFING campaign going on to to remove any threat to the massive CSG industry.

Genuinely interested people doing their own research will come to the conclusion I have stated.

IE: UCG (Underground Coal Gasification), is a proven technology, environmentally benign, and VERY cost effective.

HENCE it ia a HUGE threat to CSG.

DISCLOSURE: I hlod CXY shares."

We need to be proactive in the current media to bring to focus the terrible injustice being perpetrated.

It all will help, just hope it is not too late.
