    HI S64. From my limited experience and education on this matter, I believe that it is the change to blood flow following the implantation of a foreign valve. The new valve (including the methods to secure the valve to the heart) will result in turbulent blood flow which can cause coagulation and need anti coagulation (warfarin as you mentioned). AS the Anteris valve is constructed from a single piece of material, and there is a reported dramatic reduction of sutures (stitches) in our valve compared to valves constructed by other manufacturers, and, as the valve van be made closer to the dimensions of the human heart, there could be close to 'normal' blood flow with our valve, which could mean no turbulent flow and no coagulation issues (clotting).
    Maybe this could be a question for the company.
