I would say that you are saying that sellers are a like minded mass. There may be some very big holders who are of that view but about 25% of holders bought at $8 or less. Every seller has his/her own point of view. No idea now what percentage these 'holders" might be but I would say that there are plenty of others. Doesn't have to be 100% either way of course, just a majority.
