He is not a guru but gets more things right than most. He researches extensively and saves many a lot of time by sharing economic research insights from around the world. Occasionally I disagree with him, and we both win some and lose some. No one gets it right all of the time. He prefers to think at the index level whereas I look for profitable exceptions to the general index rule. We both do well in our own way.
It's good that you can handle economic research as that means you won't be out of your depth here.
Yes, right now his thread is particularly relevant so at the very least suspend judgement and watch for the time saving he will create for you as the days go by.
