Hi David - I think this is a habit from WAM and WAX. Buying and selling small/medium caps isn’t something you want to highlight to the market until you’ve completed what you’re doing. There was also some reported front running of stocks leading up to the WLE listing. Given size and style of WGB, I don’t think it’s so much of an issue vs others ... but it just gets the same treatment
If you just model the top 20, allow for cash holdings and otherwise equal weight the holdings I find you can track NTA to within 1% for WAX, WAM and WLE.
i haven’t modelled WGB - has anyone else? Feels like it’s trading at a reasonable discount to NTA currently tho.
