By the way, isn't the market down for the year. I recall flying to Sydney for work in 2007 and reading in the fin review in About May/June about the sub prime mortgage issue and the leverage of the banks, a little article , easily missed. The market went up for a few more months. I read this thread as t helps formmy views on how much exposure to have in shares at any given point in time. I unlike many here am not good enough to loch ST movements but I am clever to know when things are stuffed and what that will eventually mean for stocks.
