But right here and now, to me Gillard is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with the labor movement. I see a litany of failures but worse still a level of hypocrisy that I find really disturbing which extends right through the current labor party.
They claim to hold high ideals and purport to represent workers and those who are most needy. While beating the drum loudly point accusing fingers at those on the opposite side. Yet they themselves do not stand up to even the simplest of scrutiny.
How else could you conclude that their moral posturing is just a ploy to gain power. Because when they eventually do gain power what do they do with it? They piss it up against the wall.
