Craig Dawson is there (I think) and he has reasonable experience. The gold up there looks like it is very leachable (except for the coarse stuff) so why not heap leach and use the gold room/Elution circuit at Coyote to strip and recover the gold. This would be a very low capital approach and I felt it was being mooted as a possibility in a recent announcement.
The pilot plant was a poor decision as they had no leaching capacity, dropping recovery to the mid to low 60's (my opinion only) but if they run the gold room 7 days plus a heap leach at Buccaneer might be the go.
Using the pilot plant in conjunction with Coyote is also a real option. Does anyone know the status of the trial plant?
I do understand your frustrations - totally. Tell young folk today and they won't believe you - only what spits out of a computer. I have to keep trying but it is bloody hard.
