If some bunch of fools have bought 20 Trillion in unfunded paper then they deserve to loose the lot. Its not like you can pretend to have a mortgage on something that big...it would have to be equal to all the property in Asia!!
It is greedy bank lending cheap money to people who cant afford it and then oopps instead of the banks shareholders eating the loss as they should we end up with a general panic in markets not effected by the loss of future earnings from that non performing loan.
If you buy unfunded assets with no earnings it is your risk...dont spread it to my stocks like TMR that have very low earnings multiples and growth planned for years to come.
I say let em crash.................
