It is usually the case that when they reach a certain stage/level within a company, they seem to think that they are not answerable to anyone any longer. And if they have any sorts of problems, the best way to attack it and keep it quite, is to not discuss any issues with shareholders enquiries who may be leaning towards passing that information on to others.
The old ways of thinking: "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS" usually goes a long way.

Unless of course they are only trying to fill some space within the report itself, (highly unlikely though), IMHO there would have to be some relevance. A sort of "be ready for the AGM" like.
A leaking news is usually a precursor to some bad news usually.
Of course I do hope that I am way of course on this one. The last thing I want is to see the sp going any lower.
