Cash positions held by companies make up an important part of any investigative research and value.
The companies history and outlined potential will provide many clues as to what can be expected in the future.
When saying that a capital raising adds value to a company, I would want from my research either a well defined expected outcome from monies to be spent or a solid history of using investors monies to create wealth.
In some cases the latter if not existent could create a red flag that stands to carry more weight than the first point.
