Put yourself in the shoes of either CAZ directors or the WA Minister - neither can say anything particularly upbeat for fear of potential class actions or whatever if the decision goes the other way.
All CAZ directors can say is they have followed the due process to lodge the claim and believe they are entitled to it, and all the Minister can do is warn of the risks of speculating on the outcome.

That is all they can be expected to say, and all they have said.

I don't think the recent comments from the Minister and Directors are necessarily negative, just what is expected given the situation
