The film industry, the music industry, TV production ie HBO. None of them have control of what happens in the distribution of their product, because they license it out to distributors who assess the product and spend the advertising dollars to get sales (if they think it is worthwhile that is).

What do you think wholesalers do, they license product from o'seas and sell into the stores. Again they spend advertising dollars according to how successful they think the product will be.

You need to get an understanding of product life cycle and how the big guys bring a product to market. It is not the local store that as soon as it gets a new product puts it on a shelf to sell.

You need to get an understanding of the power of promo sales to drive sales.

The more you post the more certain you are trying to influence the price down to get your order filled.
