This is an expat FIFO role: 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off roster with travel in company time or 6/3 roster with travel on employee's time.

As the Commercial Manager reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and providing oversight to the Finance, Administration, IT, Supply Chain and Camp teams on site. As a member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for developing Finance & Supply Chain and other required systems to optimise productivity and efficiency. A key focus of the role will be leading the contract management process, participate in and coordinate contract negotiations and renewals.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in the mining industry with experience working in Africa or a developing country is required.
You will demonstrate people management experience including ability to coach and mentor team members of diverse backgrounds and exhibit clear negotiating and contract management skills.

It is essential to have strong communication skills in English, (French is an asset) to effectively interact with employees and government officials.
