This is what has me so excited.
Coby Hanoch, CEO of Weebit Nano, said: “Weebit’s first commercial agreement is a major milestone for the Company. It enables us to mass produce our cutting-edge ReRAM technology and offer it to SkyWater’s extensive customer base, putting us on the path to ongoing revenue generation.
A perusal of Skywater's current customer base includes
- Carillon Technologies who in partnership with the Defence Advanced Research Project Agency (DAPRA) are producing chips for satellite and other free-space optical communication applications (WBT is space tested and RAD hardened)
- Rockley Photonics- Developers of "multi-application, health related sensing and monitoring applications". They are also involved in data communications and developing machine vision for among other things, industrial automation and vehicle safety solutions (massive markets now and itno the future).
These are just two US companies that are involved in cutting edge tech. Of interest it looks like Carillon is unlisted and Rockley is on the NYSE but is under 1 billion market cap. Looks suspiciously like tier 2 businesses who would be very interested in becoming tier 1 by integrating WBT's chips. If/when this happens all their competitors will have to get on board as well or be left behind. GLTAH.
