I understand that they have been working on the Anglo asset deal for many months and the synergy is obvious given the close proximity of the Anglo assets ( existing pipleine etc) to WCL reserves. I would expect an announcement of some sort in the next month or so.

A deal like that would give WCL 2 legs to stand on.

One a takeover path based on potential 2P, the second being the second biggest actual seller (REVENUE! ) of gas to domestic Qld market
