Some additional detail..... Commissioning the plant means turning on water, electricity, compressed air, control systems etc for the first time.
It involves checking everything is wired correctly before it is powered and interconnected to the next system. Progressively each system in the chain is flushed, filled with oil, cleaned etc for first power.
It can often take 2-3 months in a complex system and often requires fly-in specialists. During this period, production is sporadic while each system is tested.
Every plant I have commissioned has issues so expect some delay, performace to be optimised over time etc. These are all normal activites but important to avoid major plant damage once we head into full production..
