Contacted the company yesterday re commissioning of new lead acid battery recycling plant and was informed it's due to be commissioned in the next week.
Apparently the recycled product will be sent os to an asian smelter as opposed to sending it to the smelter controlled by Zinifex and Simmsmetals. At long last the monopoly enjoyed by these two companies will be broken.
HMC currently have EPA approval to recycle up to 12,000 tonne per annum but the plant is capable of up to 35,000t and HMC have already indicated they will seek approval to increase production.
I love buying specs that are actually producing something and generating a cash flow. HMC was (still is) a bargain at 4.6 cents IMO.
