Yes, the company does actually want to keep dilution to a minimum. The need of a CR is unknown, it is speculation. Speculation does have a place.
A fair bit of speculation is used in some peoples evaluation of the SP, yet I don't see people scream to keep it at facts when those evaluations are talking up the company.
In the end we are all pretty darn sure that the company's real value is going up.
