All of those things have already happened and I cant see why they wont continue to happen. With HFT stop losses don't really work anymore, we need to be better at understanding and choosing resource, management, finance and real demand. Then if you have enough capital and the ability to 'trade" your way into a core holding or if you have cash flow, you can simply wait for the story to unfold and add as you see de-risking and improving fundamentals.
The game is inherently risky, we need to accept that also, what happens is never what we expect. Lots of little battles may make your stronger, being over-exposed can kill you instantly.
Some of us will make it and some will blow up - I highly recommend being lucky,(half joking) and continuing to learn as much as you can about everything - the education is the only guaranteed result.
