Now that analysts are lowering their forecasts on zinc prices we are bound for better days ahead!
"Barclays Capital, the investment bank of Britain's third- largest lender, cut its average 2007 price forecasts for zinc to $3,700 a ton from $4,200, according to an e-mailed report dated yesterday." uuummm how much is that per USD per lb? ..... and what is price today? Sounds alright to me - not dizzying heights but alright for mega profits by current miners.
Every other analyst still says zinc is flavour of the year (with nickel) and the recent survey by whtitsname internationally confirmed zinc & nickel were the 2 metals which had temporary volatility but excellent prospects for 2007.
Sure prices are running lower right now - if you trade be short but NOT FOR LONG!
