Opinion is a bit divided on Nickel. A number of projects have restarted recently and Pig Iron will probably cap the price in the $25k per tonne region. The good news is ALB has gotten over the restart cost hump and is into the higher grade area of the ore body so should be quite comfotable at lower prices, whereas the recent drop back to $22k may well have given pause for thought to those who have only recently decided to restart. India is mentioned in the article. I wonder what the impact of Japan will be, will the slip back into recession be over-ridden by the need to rebuild in terms of Ni demand?
