Commodities will outperform every other asset class simply because there are no inventories and we are moving to a consumption base that is largely needs as opposed to wants based. Peak oil is a gift to investors. You guarantee the costs of producing stuff goes up, then as oil goes higher and energy becomes shorter you guarantee the supply capacity is impacted by input shortages, social unrest and a worsening credit crisis.
