    But I expect property to have problems globally. Factors affecting Australia right now are global factors.
    Thus, if the property values start falling in the country of the foreign investors, new investors might be scared to invest elsewhere. Much of speculation is also herd mentality as speculators rush to buy property as it keeps rising. Falling prices will dampen sentiment.
    The reverse stampede could also occur as existing investors rush to sell, and book paper (while it still exists) profits on their property.

    China's property market is taking a bad hit, and it will be interesting to see the impact on Chinese investor sentiment, and sentiment of other Asian investors, in Aussie property.
