BHPs copper division is a juggernaut. It’s the best copper company that one can buy. Only the Chilean state owned enterprises surpass it which you cannot invest in.
Future growth for BHP in this area could be:
1. Oak Dam West (currently being defined and likely a monster tier 1 deposit, aka one of the most significant discoveries in a decade or 2).
2. Technological advancements in extraction - Olympic Dam
3. Resolution (can thank the Left democrats for stalling this).
