The critics will slam this of course, which just shows how isolated, remote, out of touch, and unrealistic they are.
I live in an area that is now a major food bowl area, made possible by the building of a major dam about 50 years ago. Without that dam, a vast area of NSW would produce next to nothing. As it is it feeds and clothes millions, and is of inestimable value to preserving the environment.
Its just amazing to think that if this dam was proposed now, it would be howled down by the greens. And yet its building has actually enabled many of their stated goals. What a mob of silly narrow-minded dills they are.
