I think it is a fantastic idea. However my gut feel is that $30billion for 100 dams seems a bit on the optimistic side - I would have thought it would be more like $100 billion. That said without knowing where and how big each dam is it is very hard to know.
Bring it on - this would be a very worth while infrastructure project that would add true value to Australia going forward.
