Shared that makes no sense. The very fact that he owns four properties means he could afford to his own mortgage. Just depends where he wants to buy though - at the end of the day it is his choice to live in a rented house or not.
Despite what is said on this forum there is no blanket one size that fits all when it comes to ANY investment. Some areas of that investment will do badly, others will continue to do well, and others will tread water. The way many talk here everything is the same which it is not.
