FutureFlyer. That reminds me. In the first channel check...case #1, when the customer spoke about acquiring Live Tiles intranet portal for corporate governance of Teams , they did mention security. The employee goes to the organization home page (provided by LVT) and then clicks on Teams to enter Teams. It ensures that everything is being done on the corporate intranet.

The other feature they mentioned is that there is something called a "power panel" provided by LVT which accompanies that user when he is on Teams so that he or she can access other functions without leaving Teams.

My take on the whole thing is that it is certainly not essential to have Live Tiles/Wizdom intranet to work on Teams but that it makes using Teams a easier for the employee and easier to control for the organization.
