Bear markets usually bottom 2 to 5 quarters before the economy starts to recover from a recession.

Personally I think all sorts of bad stuff will be happening right up towards the US elections on the 4th of Nov, bad luck stuff, more carnage, wrack and ruin on the fin markets.

This will assist the american public serve out what the republicans deserve in the election.

Similar stuff happened to Johnny Howard before the last election, I remember watching with interest as several bad luck events hit the libs one after another in the couple of months leading up to the election.

The libs deserved to lose, as they won the previous election using some pretty vile fearmongering tactics to do with interest rates, similar to those sometimes used by our buddy here on these threads.

So I expect the storm of trouble to continue up until a few days before the election on the 4th of Nov.
