Just decided to put a small $5800 order in on BHP and noticed the CommSec brokerage came up as $21.90 instead of the usual $19.95. I played with others values and they have all been slightly increased EXCEPT on their fees pages which remains the same. Over $10,000 is now $31.90 instead of the $29.95. My Excel spreadsheet is now out-of-whack!!
Does anyone know why?
I suspect it is not updated yet, but they are expecting a rate cut, so hence need to cover future "losses" so they increase this?
