My wife used to have an account with Sanfords which was transferred to commsec. This is still linked to her original Bankwest CMT. No comsec bank accounts, none required.
Similarly I have just set up a new commsec account through esuperfund. Again the CMT is with Macquarie and no commsec accounts required.
New account insisted on a passwaord which was numbers only. Wifes old account retained original Samfords password (a mix of letters and numbers)
