Chaya, in reply, I dont pay much attention to the Home Page top RHS "Settlements". In fact most days I even forget to look. These settlements take care of themselves so to speak as long as every day there is always ( before market opens or banks open) sufficient funds in the CDIA account to cover the Transactions Ledger balance if it is in the red from the previous days trades. Admittedly, with T+2 there is a short window there where in the very short interim period the ledger debit amount may exceed what is in the CDIA account but I never let it get to that point. I dont like stress ! As mentioned, before market opens on any trading day. I check the CDIA account and the Transactions Ledger balance as a precaution to ensure netted out I am in the black, but by tracking my trades on the day before I know exactly where I stand by market close. The following morning is really just a confirmatory check for me.
