Same here nt_1973_au, a couple of other things I asked about commsec.....

Fees are $2/month and are NOT taken out of my existing Netbank acount which I use for trading the ASX. Apparently Commsec will contact me when I need to transfer money into the Pershing account to cover the $2/month.

Another fee of $US68.00 is applicable if no trades are made within a 12 month period.

The special deal for Linc Commsec customers is $65 or 0.75% instead of $120, but only for the first trade, and the Commsec dude couldn't tell me if there was any time limit attached to this special deal.

Can only trade the SGX over the phone with Commsec, the only international trading you can do through the Commsec website is the on the US markets.

I went through Commsec mainly because I didn't want to open yet another account with a new mob. Yes they aren't the cheapest but the fees hopefully won't matter too much to me by the time I decide to sell.
