strange question -
Event 1: there is a capital gain or loss on the shares I sold yesterday (and as it happens this was approx zero, I sold a lower and higher parcel, av SP 93, so net no gain/loss)
Event 2: I bought different shares today and when I sell them for $6 in 5 years time I will be up for 50% of a very large tax bill on the 722% gain. Smiling all the way
