    I tend to agree. And my evidence for backing up what you say is the fact that gambling volumes generally surpass (after 18 mths or so) where they previously were once a smoking ban had been imposed on a venue.

    Take Burswood casino in Perth, for instance, where a smoking ban was imposed in 2006 in WA. How do we know that volumes recovered? Because Packer has since gone and bought it, and he doesn't back dead horses...

    And what does that have to do with ATM transactions, you might ask... Well, if smokers can go back to gambling and not smoke, then they are clearly more interested in gambling than smoking. And as an ex smoker, I can tell you how hard it is to go without a smoke. So the idea that a gambler will not gamble because there isn't an ATM nearby is laughable IMHO.
