I am very happy with E*Trade.
I have no doubt Commsec is the largest simply cos it is totally free to join. My guess is many of its so-called members have never traded but joined out of little more than curiosity.
To join E*Trade one has to open a trading account of $5,000 but once jioned can withdraw it.
In other words E*Trade is saying "show us you have some money to be able to trade".
