Not sure if I can see any similar experience here.
Due to eSuperfund's eBroking stop their international share trading service, I have to find myself another broker for my smsf internation share trading. Commsec is my pick as I think this is the biggest broker in OZ market.
However, after strugling for a whole month, during which we set up a CommSec domestic account first, then added extra member to match our SMSF trust structure (4 trustees), now we are applying for CommSec international share trading account, only to be told they can't provide service to SMSF funds with more than 2 trustees! By intuition I don't believe this telling from their customer support at all. Individual SMSF funds are allowed to have up to 6 trustees in Australia, how could CommSec have such nonsensical policy? I doubt CommSec team have proper understanding of the rules and their platform may have some defect for account application (online application does have only space for 2 members).
Has anyone experienced same issue before?
