I spoke to Board Chairman and Managing Director at todays G.M. Before Resolutions were voted M.D. spoke and said : 1. he is 100% confident there is gas in Mereenie, Stairway, and Ooramina ; 2. the unknown is whether the gas is economic to produce ; 3. drilling, proving of reserves, and demonstrating financial viability of bringing the gas into production can be done before NGP installation is finished . M.D. wants " a Mandate for six months ". In my conversation with M.D. he said the financial relationship with Macquarie is manageable and it is the Joint Venture relationship which is complex ( i note dog1 has posted there is a meeting of M.D. with Macquarie tomorrow ). At the SOA meeting 19.6.17 i spoke with both about the idea of regular communication with shareholders and did again today. Chairman is agreeable to idea and M.D. also ; M.D. is looking at doing an electronic presentation with quarterly reports. I have asked for solid information ( not a warm friendly public relations presentation with little substance ) with management interpretive discussion. M.D. says he and the Board are keen to progress above plan and are close to seeing ultimate company development goals achieved.
