Interesting, but if this means that these banks have voting rights then my point still stands.A sword hangs over Luke Tonkin, if he is not a good boy. However if these Mega Banks have voting rights on your shares and you also vote -- Sounds like your typical American election.
I still find it hard to believe that the 76% of SLR is simply these custodians. I deal with NAB, some would go through Comsec or other Banks. How come they aren't listed.
In short 76% is a lot, It also means that their is no poit in having Annual general meetings
