Any work that involves software development requires a huge amount of regression testing, validation, pre-production and production environments etc etc.

I'm sure MDR understands the real costs in doing such work to a level that is professional, follows standards, adheres to security protocols and is able to evolve with new integration (APIs) etc.

I assume Management are justifying the costs and time to build and are not being bullied or railroaded by a much larger entity.
