Nen as a listed company have obligations to report market sensitive information. Exxon are structured differently and do not have this obligation hence the lack of reporting.
The re;ationship with ENI I cannot comment on however it is a commercial relationship and they both ahve a lot of skin in the game and are wanting the same outcome.

I would not be concerned regarding he relaease of information, it will come good or bad. For me I am very confident of good news as this project has been de risked so far and I have never been invested in a project that has been de risked this far, credit to the management on this one.
