    So, following on from my previous post, I'm wondering what Spectur's Facebook post of 10 August 2020 is trying to tell us. I've snipped and pasted the post below.

    Note that:
    1) the two images coyly avoid showing what is under surveillance and protection within the fenced enclosure;
    2) the descriptor implies that the site is a heavily treed area in country Victoria; and,
    3) country Victoria is "prime Spectur solution land".

    Taking the last point first, whatever it is that's under surveillance and protection, it would seem that Spectur is saying that similar initiatives could be applicable across country Victoria.

    Moving back to the second point, I have not seen any other images of Spectur's HD5 cameras being used with a dual solar array - all of which comes at a cost. So I'm guessing that the client is unable or unwilling to utilise grid power for camera surveillance, but wants to make absolutely certain that solar powered camera surveillance is capable of doing the job.

    Finally, moving back to the first point, it is interesting to try and whittle down what might be under surveillance/protection within the enclosure shown in the above photos. In that regard, I think we can eliminate a wind turbine or a small solar generation plant because in both cases, heavily treed areas are far less optimal locations than (in the case of a wind turbine), a barren ridge area, or (in the case of a solar generation plant) a treeless plain. Perhaps it might be an electricity sub-station that is being protected, but I'm leaning towards a 4G communication tower.

    No doubt there are other possibilities, but they're not immediately apparent to me.
