"We will surprise the markets when and if appropriate to re-distribute wealth." In reference to share buybacks and special dividends from the video address by PW at end of last year around Christmas time, it actually wasn't too bad of an address, (but the ongoing manipulation and games we see at Clinuvel means it all sort of gets drowned out). Well so far they have definitely surprised by announcing an amazing share buyback and then leaving it almost untouched for over one year while splashing out shares internally in about the same amount. That certainly surprised me after they made such strong fighting words about striking on shareholder behalf. As I said recently the company is actually doing pretty well, especially this year, and they are in the strongest position they have ever been in with growing profits and an enormous pile of shareholder cash. Communication needs a lot of work with this mob, at least they don't seem to be splashing cash on Michelin catered Soirees in Monaco these days, that always sort of grated when they also talk sagely about needing funds for important R&D programs. The executive and board need to liven up a bit and try to get shareholders back onside, I think the actual workers at Clinuvel must be doing excellent work by making such great profits and producing/distributing a super safe and effective drug that recently changed a 9 year old girls life that suffers from the terrible disease of EPP.

As for ASIC data on shorting just 5 thousand fake shares in the latest day of available data - but there were only 36 thousand shares traded that day!

Extreme manipulation in a lightly traded company, usually closing shareprice near daily lows each day with a price 1 to 2% below VWAP. Shorters given absolute control and free reign to do whatever they please.

Easy to strike on shareholder behalf by deploying the 1.5 Million share buyback which is nearly untouched more than one year after much fanfare and strong verbal and written words from Clinuvel, never heard of a board treating its shareholders quite like this. This would seem to be a great place to start with getting shareholders onside by actually just doing what they said in relation to the BB and as any company that announces a BB just does in a simple and straightforward manner!
