My agenda is simple. To encourage facts, to ensure history is put into context and to understand how we can distort things according to our own prejudices

I have no difficulty teaching Jewish history but we differ on what that means. In my view if someone abandons their religion they are no longer Jewish, Christian or Muslim. You clearly follow the idea that Judaism is an ethnicity. That of course was what Hitler thought too.

I’d be happy to see broader discussion on discrimination and pogroms, why Jews ended up doing certain occupations and how we can promote sensible tolerance without sacrificing a sense of community responsibility
