''truth often lies somewhere in between all of the recorded writings''

'truth' is what I call fact ------ IMO is often totally absent. Didn't even get an invite to read for the part

and it's just hard to see what would have been fact. Even in little old Oz which is relatively only news from yesterday in comparison to something like Europe

in Oz - whole histories just disappear - gone, hidden under sand or vegetation

I really don't trust any history now. And one interesting reality is that if people have a belief about it and it's blown apart by evidence - they often still cling onto the old belief - as if it's real

The big Jimmy and little Jimmy brother tag team Saints - both of them -

their story - which justified a huge huge huge building program in France via Cluny -

all bullshit - now proven. And yet - you still see thousands of pilgrims - not doing the pilgrimage for the sake of personal or spiritual development - but, because they still believe the bullshit

    incredible.

If aliens appeard in the sky - friendly very intelligent and advanced beings - came on down and somehow survived America trying to kill them -

if they showed us beyond doubt that god doesn't exist and they showed us how the joint works -

there would still be millions who say - oh, god exists alright, he's real - he lives up there and runs everything

if the aliens had any bloody sense - they would walk back up the ramp, shut and lock the door and drive off--- with a note on their calendar - come back in 5 million years - see if the idiots have gone yet
