Yes, the lack of volumes in London would be my only real concern...though it was still substantially higher than normal.
I too can't understand why they were able to trade, which is why I suspect the halt was specifically the result of ASX intervention.
If, as I suspect, the ASX has issued RTM with a "please explain" regarding the timing of the information flow prior to the big announcement, then that might explain why they were still able to trade in London...obviously the London exchange didn't make a similar request.
I still would have thought that RTM would have to call a halt though?
All seems a bit messy to me and not the sort of thing you do when you have genuinely good news on the table.
I have already traded in and out and currently am not holding.
Knowing my luck, the news will be good and I will miss a few points, but frankly, I am quite happy to be out until things become clear.
