GG and Rahul said right from the start Syntonic is not an app. Syntonic is about the CSP(and its royalties ) the apps are the proof of concept of the CSP. Freeway was/is proof of a concept and has worked, Syntonic then backed off, Syntonic has been about proving a theory and letting the Telco build bolt on apps/programs the platform. Smart guys these two, this concept is not new - a carpet maker had feed back form his colleges his carpet was some of the best they had seen, but he was having trouble selling his to a bank CEO until he came up with an idea and took uncoloured carpet drawing to the CEO and asked the CEO what colours would you use if you were to use this carpet in your bank. Why were the trials free also a story, a salesman selling White trucks to a operator who only used Macks won many arguments but no sale, he gave the operator a White truck ( put his money where his mouth was) and never got the truck back. Its all about proving the concept and letting the Telecom discover the possibilities at their cost a big job with much thought so takes time.
