Just a thought, can OK Tedi pull out from the JV? I think that the JV only says that Ok Tedi must spend IN ORDER to get the %age ownership of the resources. I can't remember reading anything that it's legally binding, i.e. if Ok Tedi doesn't spend that amount of money, FNT can sue Ok Tedi for compensation.
In other words, if Ok Tedi doesn't like the results that they've found so far in their initial phase, they can pull the pin??
Anyone can confirm?
